7 Feb 2023. #1. We are constantly getting tyre pressure warnings on our T6.1 transporter (its really a van t it). We didn’t pay for the TPS system so we assume that ours is based on the rolling circumference of the tyres. Now a bit of background, I have been through the forum and checked various things. Tyre pressure checked and set weekly iltdi. Posting this up, hoping someone can help out, i have a 2012 passat the low adblue indicator is on and will not go off despite filling tank to the top. The first thing that i was informed to try was to leave the key on for 30 sec to a min in the on position without starting, then turn to the off position for the same time period. Short trips Low range, long trips High Range so the range will vary. As there are no errors showing you will get a notification at about 650 miles range with the amount to top up. If you run out of Adblue whilst driving nothing happens until Next Start, when it won't start. No harm to the engine. But you will get plenty of warnings. By the time I got it I was down to 100km in the tank. I then added 10L of adblue but the gauge never reset. I rang VW and they said there was no issue but it took a minimum of a three quarter capacity fill to reset the gauge. So if it’s a 20L tank and you don’t refill by at least 15L it doesn’t reset. THen 10 days ago- just on motorway- warning light for exhaust- VW Assist - regen plus advised to go to garage for software update and free AdBlue. 200m later- same warning light VW Assist / AA called 31103 Went to garage- software update plus letter for 8 top ups Adblue (adblue topped up with 5L that day by me) TPI 2056401 Sep 19, 2020. #2. Did you switch the ignition on and give it 30 seconds before starting? If not, pop out, turn the ignition on, hum a nice tune for 30 seconds and then start engine and see if that resets it. How much did you put in btw? Hi - I am a new member stuck in France. Had a warning message ERROR: ADBLUE (DEF) no engine start in 600 miles - I am 550 miles from Eurotunnel. Took it to a garage (no VW garages near me so went to Renault). They could not fix it and said it needed to go to VW. Rang VW Europe recovery. T6 Legend. 30 Aug 2021. #8. Tic tac said: Thought mine did 6k,before top up. Is the 6.1 AdBlue tank smaller? They all do around 4500-6000 miles on a fill. But the first warning is around 1500 miles remaining.
